Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This policy covers how you may and may not use Setpaid (the "app"). It's part of our Terms of Service. By using the app, you agree to these rules.

Don't use the app to:

  • Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
  • Send spam, scams, or deceptive invoices, or contact people who haven't agreed to hear from you.
  • Collect debts unlawfully, or chase payments in a way the law doesn't allow.
  • Use client information you don't have permission to use.
  • Upload malware, try to break into other accounts or our systems, or get around security or rate limits.
  • Try to reach another trainer's account or data, or defeat the separation between accounts.
  • Overload, scan, or disrupt the app, or scrape or resell it except where the law allows.
  • Share your login, or let someone use your account who hasn't agreed to these terms.
  • Store medical or other regulated health records that need a special agreement we haven't signed (see below).
  • Break export or sanctions laws.

Your responsibility for client information

You're responsible for the client information you enter — that it's accurate, that you're allowed to store it, and that you have any consent needed to invoice or message your clients.

Health information

The app is not set up to handle medical records or other health information that's regulated by laws like HIPAA. Please don't store that kind of information unless we've agreed in writing.

If you break these rules

We may look into suspected violations and may suspend or close an account that breaks this policy or that we reasonably believe is harming the app, its users, or others. We'll give notice where we can, but we may act right away for serious problems.
