Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for your Setpaid subscription — the fee you pay us to use the app.

It does not cover the payments your own clients make to you. Those go through your own Stripe account and are between you and your clients. We never receive or hold your clients' money.

Free trial

New accounts start with a 30-day free trial, and no credit card is required to start. We do not offer a free tier. To keep using the app after the trial, you subscribe by adding a payment method. If you don't subscribe by the time the trial ends, you simply won't be charged — your account becomes read-only until you subscribe.

Billing and automatic renewal

Once you subscribe, your subscription is paid in advance and renews automatically — monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you pick — until you cancel. When you subscribe, you allow us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period. We'll show you the price and billing period before you subscribe.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and after that your account becomes read-only. Cancelling does not delete your account or data — you can still sign in, export your data, or close your account.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and we don't give refunds or credits for partial periods or unused time, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong — like a billing error — contact us and we'll make it right.

If a payment fails

If a charge fails, we'll retry it and let you know. During this short grace period you keep access. If it still can't be paid, your account becomes read-only until payment succeeds. Your data stays put, and you can still export it or close your account.

Price changes

We may change the price. If we do, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies to your next billing period.
